My 2nd Father’s Day!
Well, I am enjoying being a father. Arthur is a delight. He is a lot of work for Sarah and I, but he rewards us in so many ways that it makes it easy to forget that we practically do everything for him. It has been nice in this month since I have been out of school to slow down a bit and soak up some of the other tasks of mowing the yard, playing with Arthur when I get home, etc.
I am happy to be a dad. It really is an amazing responsibility. It is ever-challenging in new ways but like I said before, it is rewarding in just the right number of ways.
Louisiana Tech Has Its Own Bulldog Logo!
(This Logo utilizes “LA TECH” which, like it or not, is how Tech is referred to in the athletic world.)
(This Logo displays a version of the Athletic wordmark and the new bulldog logo that is exclusively Tech’s”I am really proud that they have done this. I just wish they would have done it sooner. Go Bulldogs!
New Blog Design. New Phase of Life.
So, I thought it’d be best to update my blog since it was plastered with my caricature and Ron Paul propaganda. Ron Paul OFFICIALLY dropped out of the race last evening, although most wrote him off months ago.

Randy Newman
My uncle Rodger and I are scheduled to go see Randy Newman in Lafayette on April 28. I am really excited about it. Randy Newman really fascinates me. He doesn’t “wow” me, just intrigues me. He is a political satirist who really has a unique sound. He is no cookie-cutter singer/songwriter. He is his own breed. His music still carries even without the band backing him up. He is much older now than these YouTube videos. Hope your palette is whetted:
“Intelligent satire meets willful cruelty.”
